The NGM Forward Racing Team duo of Aleix Espargaro and Colin Edwards head to Argentina for the third round of the 2014 MotoGP™ World Championship with securing high points in mind.

After his fourth and ninth place finishes in the opening two races, Espargaro looks forward to challenging for top points at the new venue – Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo as Grand Prix racing returns to South America.

“After Texas I had some time to rest a little bit at home and now I look forward to the Argentina GP. We were not among the riders who did a test session there last year, but anyway it will be new for most of us. It will be important to try to work well during the whole weekend in order to prepare for the race in the best possible way and to get a good set up to fight with the front guys”.

Having announced that he will retire from MotoGP™ at the end of the current season, Espargaro’s teammate Edwards will be looking to bounce back from a DNF at his home round in Texas.

He kept his preview to round three succinct, saying, “I look forward to race in Argentina. I like the country very much and it’s exciting to race in a new place. We had an unlucky race in Texas, so we go to Termas de Rio Hondo to get a better result.”
