JORGE LORENZO DISMISSED BY THE CAS

Jorge Lorenzo is now set to see what happens on the Valencia track come race day as his request for intervention in the Valentino Rossi Vs the FIM Appeal was overturned by the CAS 

Two days ago, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rejected a Request for Intervention filed by the Spanish MotoGP rider, Jorge Lorenzo.On 2 November 2015, lawyers acting for Jorge Lorenzo filed a Request for Intervention in order to be able to participate on his behalf in the CAS arbitration between Valentino Rossi and the FIM. The CAS on 4th November, 2015 informed the parties that Mr Lorenzo’s request was denied.

  1. A very poor move to even open his mouth. So glad CAS at least didn’t entertain his nonsense. It’s clear to me that the Japanese still hold a grudge against Valentino.

    Of course publicly, they will hug him…but you must understand Japanese culture to understand why they are allowing Lorenzo to shot his mouth off in the press. Creating a rift in the team. Very, very surprising for a corporate structure such as Yamaha. But, again, it’s a cultural issue. hey never got over the ‘sting’ of Val leaving them. A shame, because I have lost all respect for Yamaha.

    And as far as the Spanish Mafia (Dorna) are concerned, they have manufactured a champion, it’s despicable.
