The 26-year-old has just one previous visit to the 4,023m Derby circuit under his belt, from a distant 2008, but is looking forward to the new challenge and joining Niccoló Canepa on the YZF-R1M

“I am really excited by this opportunity to join the Pata Yamaha Official STK1000 Team at Donington Park. We did a great job in Assen as a wildcard so I am happy that I can return to this championship especially with the Official Factory team. The track and team are new for me so I am looking forward to leaning a lot quickly and I want to send my thanks to Yamaha.” Danny De Boer reveals
