Andrea Iannone rode a late 1’23.325 to get back at the top of the Nero Giardini Motorrad AUSTRIA Grand Prix with Andrea Dovizioso joining him to earn Ducati a 1-2 finish

Aboard the Ecstar Suzuki, Maverick Vinales maintained his 3rd spot from yesteday with reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo 4th aboard the Movistar Yamaha M1

Scott Redding brought in the first Octo Pramac Ducati in 5th further relegating Valentino Rossi to 6th

7th was Aleix Espargaro aboard the second Suzuki GSX-RR. Ducati maintained their great suitability to the Austrian track when Hector Barbera crossed the line in 8th on his Avintia Racing Ducati head of World Championship leader Marc Marquez who was haulted and retired due to a heavy fall in the session.
