CAL CRUTCHLOW WINS MOTOGP IN CZECK REPUBLIC: FIRST TIME IN 35 YEARS

Britain’s Cal Crutchlow rode a hot head yet collected race from 12th on the grid to earn himself his first ever Grand Prix victory since joining the Premier class in 2012 at the HJC helmets Ceske Replubliky at BrnoHe joined his former LCR Honda team mate Jack Miller as the only riders to take a Grand Prix victory on an Independent Team.The Victory also earned Crutchlow the accolade as the first British Grand Prix winner in the premier class in 35 years after Barry Sheen

Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) and Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) completed the podium in a chaotic race, with the 9-time Polesitter Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) had the worst start off the front row as Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) and Andrea Iannone (Ducati Team) swept past the championship leader, before both Movistar Yamaha riders Lorenzo and teammate Valentino Rossi began to drop down the pack

Andrea Iannone would take yet another tyre choice gamble as he did in Austria only for it to cost him a repeat victory as he went down the oRder due to severe tyre wear making grounds for late charges from Loris Baz (Avintia Racing),Hector Barbera, and Eugene Laverty (PULL&BEAR Aspar) overtook Iannone and relegated him for 6th place before Danilo Petrucci (Octo Pramac Yakhnich) also had the better of him to end the race in P7, with Iannone coming home 8th just ahead of the factory Suzuki of Maverick Vinales  in 9thEstrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS’s Tito Rabat completed his first ever top ten finish in MotoGP. 

Yonny Hernandez aboard the PULL&BEAR ASPAR ducati finished 11th ahead of the factory Repsol Honda RC213V of Dani Pedrosa in 12th.

Defending Champion Jorge Lorenzo would be said to be the man with the worst finish after a wrong decision to pit in late for a bike swap to cross the line as the last rider in 17th giving out the second Championship spot to Valentino Rossi and losing points to Marquez.Silverstone, in Great Britain beckons us all next and Cal Crutchlow seem ti have built the perfect momentum heading into his home Grand Prix
